How To Care For Acacia Wood:
Wipe the wood with a soft cotton or microfiber cloth slightly damp with warm soapy water. Use a non-detergent neutral pH soap.
Dry and wipe the surface clean with a soft cotton cloth.
To remove tougher stains or for a more natural solution, you can mix water and white vinegar to clean the acacia wood.
Avoid cleaning with sponges or anything with a rough surface to avoid scratching the natural wood.
To Preserve Acacia Wood:
Acacia wood is quite porous meaning it can stain very easily. We recommend sealing it at least once per year.
To keep your acacia wood looking its best, avoid leaving it in direct sunlight or in humid environments. The sun's UV rays can cause the wood to fade, and humidity can lead to mold or mildew growth.
Polish 3-4 times per year. Seasonally polish your acacia wood using natural solutions like a beeswax and olive oil mixture to protect it from water damage and keep it looking great. Use a soft rag to apply the polish and then buff it with another clean cotton cloth or soft rag after 30 minutes.
Apply a small amount of paste wax approx. once per year.
